After 18 years of Special Education teaching, he entered the catering field and managed catering companies in the Greater Boston area. He has owned his own catering companies both in Boston (RG Catering) and currently on Maui. |
| Daniel J. Southmayd, Owner & Administrator Daniel J. Southmayd studied baking and cooking in the Boston area, and has held management and administrative positions with Barnes & Noble, Maui no ka ‘oi Magazine, and RG Catering. He has also studied music and works as a writer. |
| John Webb, Chef John received his culinary degree from the Art Institute of Seattle. He has a decade of experience in the hospitality industry in Seattle, New York, Washington DC, and Breckenridge, Colorado. He has also worked at the American Pavilion at the 55th Cannes Film Festival and for the PBS cooking series "Nick Stellino's Family Kitchen". |
| Kara Iwaskiewicz, Event Coordinator & Administrative Assistant Kara earned hew bachelor's degree in hospitality administration from Boston University. She has an extensive background in the hotel industry, having worked in New Hampshire, Puerto Rico and Madrid Spain. Before moving to Maui, Kara was the lead concierge at a luxury residential building in Boston's cultural South End district. |
